This month features the work of Sooze Bloom DeLeon Grossman of Vashon Island. Her energetic and bright art work is in a number of mediums. Sooze is a dyer and uses bright contrasting colors for her dual-dyed scarves. She is a fused-glass artist and her glass trays, mezzuzot covers, and wall and garden hanging pieces are expertly crafted. She also does collage work--her notecards and stickers are small form narrative art. Her themes are: "More joy! More justice!"
It's a new year, a new date for the Ballard Art Walk and now a new website. The last one snuck up on us a little, so please hang in there while we import the information from our old website. For now you can submit your events via the Submission Form and we hope to see many of you on the 19th for our first Third Thursday Ballard Art Walk!
